This is Anita Lillie's website.
My passion is information visualization. I love to create tools to help people find simple patterns in complex data. My Masters thesis work, while it deals with music, treats music as the data in order to create maps of music libraries. I did this project while at the MIT Media Lab from 2006 to 2008 in the Hyperinstruments group.
In late 2008, I found my way back to the San Francisco Bay Area, and started working with the wonderful-and-marvelous Data Insight group at Nokia Research Center in Palo Alto. After a year and a half there, I've moved over to LinkedIn, where I am a data visualization designer (and loving it).
